Klondike Days - February 20th and 21st  of 2010 As we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Klondike Days, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in the 2010 Klondike Days, Chainsaw Carving Competition sponsored by First National Bank.  This year’s event will be held on February 20th and 21st  of 2010.  Participants will compete in two events, a Main Event and a Quick Carve Event.  Entry into the Competition requires a $50.00 non-refundable entry fee from each participant.  Entries must be received by February 10, 2010 The payout for the Main Event will be as follows.                         1st)       $1,000.00        `           4th)       $  200.00                         2nd)      $  500.00                     5th)       $  100.00                         3rd)      $  300.00                     6th)       $    50.00 For more information and entry form click on links below REGISTRATION FORM A Letter to Carvers   Rendezvous - Ridgway, PA Saturday Feb 20th through Saturday Feb 27, 2010 For more information check out the Rendezvous site at: http://www.chainsawrendezvous.org/html/s01_home/home.asp   2nd Annual Canadian Carv-a-Palooza  April 8th through Sunday April 11th The 2nd Annual Canadian Carv-a-Palooza will be start from Thursday April 8th until Sunday April 11th. The 8th will be a day of welcoming carves & fun day to do what you wish as far as carving & learning & the event will commence on Friday April 9th until Sunday afternoon on the 11th where we will be holding a 50/50 auction of all the carvings created during the event. Registration is a must & the cost we are keeping the same as last years at $100 but we are requesting this at registration to be able to accommodate all carvers for lodging, food & carving wood. We still have limited spaces (more than last year) so if you are interested, sign up! We will be running seminars over the entire event & are requesting ideas for what carvers would like to have as far as subject matter for the seminars so get your ideas in early to set this up properly. We will have various types of accommodations available & are working out reduced rates at a local motel also for those choosing this type of accommodation. For the national participants the journey occurs on the 23th of April 2010, however, these can arrive at own expenses also earlier. The international participants can arrive from the 20th of April 2010. A lot remains as well as was it:  >Wood exists.  >Fuel and oil is there for you saws.  >For catering and overnight stay is provided.  >You bring your cut protection clothes, your tools and everything for bad    weather please.  >The members who accompany you pay 20,00€ per person and day and    children less than 12 years pay 15,00€ per person and day, for overnight stay    and full catering. A registration, consent explanation are enclosed. We would have the registration and the consent explanation with pleasure at the latest  31.01.2010 back! Because our number of participants is limited to 60 participants, from this we keep 20 places for international artists, will lie all registration about our number of participants on a waiting list sedately. We hand over to you in writing whether you, besides, or on the waiting list is.
