Every carver gets 600 Euro for their sculpture.
Host gets the sculpture to do with as he feels appropriate.

This event is
to help give the public, carvers and potential carvers some insight into
this extreme art form.
Come and meet
the carvers and understand the art form.
Workshops and
information about this art form will take place on Friday evening on May
23rd
Saturday
Carvers will carve on Main Pieces and a Speed Carve on May 24th
Carvers will
keep their main pieces and can do with them as they please.
There will be
an auction of the Speed Carvings. A ceremony of the winner of the event
will follow.
A donation of
a carving to the event to help will be appreciated.

This is a gathering of carvers to donate carvings carved in this beautiful valley. The carvers are provided food, drink and a place to sleep while carving.
200 Euro for each carver for traveling expenses.
Carvers are encouraged to bring their carvings for sale.
Oak wood 2 m tall and 60-80 cm in diameter.
It will take place in the lot next to a glass blowers shop.
There will be speed carving each day for 45 minutes. All proceeds from the speed carves go to the carver from the auction. The carver with the highest auction price will win a prize. Last year was a chainsaw. Second and Third place winners BEER.
24 carvers from Germany and The Netherlands will be carving but anyone wanting to carve can if they want to meet the terms of the event.
24th carving 9am to 6pm
25th carving 9am to 4pm
This isn’t a competition it’s a gathering for carvers to share and have fun while carving a sculpture that will be set up for everyone to enjoy.
The event will give notice to the carver and their carving on a label on the carving and as well in the flyer and homepage of the event. All sculptures will be put on permanent display along this link between the cities. Each year there will be a new city along the road to link them together.
