were watching the Pre-Race show for a NASCAR Winston Cup Race a few years
ago. While the TV guy was interviewing driver Rusty Wallace, some fan
appeared in the background wearing a strap t-shirt and Desert Storm
camouflage shorts, holding a beer up in a handy drinking position. That in
itself inspired this carving but then, just as the camera was pulling away,
the guy takes his free hand and started scratching his butt, too good to
pass up. I painted the likeness of Dale Earnhardt on Bubba Bears t-shirt
with latex semi-gloss. |
